Be a Hero!

My name is Garland Benson and my goal is to raise 1 million dollars*. I’m trying to help fund a treatment for my sister who has Batten Disease so she can live a normal life like me. My plan is to get 100,000 people to give 10 dollars each. Since we have started the foundation, we have had so many amazing friends and supporters to help us get to the point that we are at now. The only problem is that I don’t know 100,000 people like that! Please help me reach my goal by donating and asking your friends to help too. Like Helen Keller said, "alone we can do so little and together we can do so much." Tell them for just 10 dollars they can be a hero too!!  

*On December 31, 2018, Garland reached his $1 million goal.  He continues to be supported by heroes all over the world and as of July 1, 2019 had raised $1,117,207. Every additional donation helps Beyond Batten fund a clinical trial for his sister and other kids affected by Batten disease.
